Wear the Scar

Through destruction, Fractured Cloth emerged as a testament to our belief in embracing imperfections.
In a culture where anything deemed "damaged" is discarded without a second thought, we defy the norm by proudly wearing our scars as badges of honor.
Each mark, no matter how seemingly insignificant, carries with it a story. A story of resilience, of experience, of life lived fully.
Our apparel is
meticulously crafted to not only withstand the trials of wear but also
to earn its own unique scars, symbolizing the journey of its wearer.

Below are excerpts from the police report detailing our scar story.

Sara was proceeding westbound on Pine and trying to make a left onto southbound 14th Street.

Gerard yelled, "STOP, STOP, STOP". Immediately after, Sara heard a loud impact. She had turned in front of a motorcyclist heading east on Pine causing the cyclist to collided with Sara's vehicle.

American Medical Response had already left the scene with the rider of the motorcycle as he was a scoop & go. Taking a closer look, there was what appeared to be a pool of blood, and on top of the pool of blood was a black jacket.

Three trails of blood had flowed southbound towards the Ford. There were broken motorcycle pieces scattered all
around. Additionally, there were bloody shoe prints which I believed to be from bystanders attempting to help the rider of the motorcycle.

I noticed a motorcycle dirt bike lying on its side. In the middle of the intersection was a jacket and a pool of what I believed was blood that was beginning to coagulate on the roadway. May have rolled the rider onto his side due to a concern that he might aspirate on blood.

Paramedic Pettin, relayed when they arrived on scene that the rider was agonally breathing. His leg was hanging on by skin and skin alone. 22 minutes no pulse.

On 08/23/2022 at approximately 1230 hours I met with the rider at Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora. I had checked in several times with medical staff and family members and was told that he was unlikely to be able to communicate effectively due to his injuries.
